How to Find an External AS2 MDN to Provide to a Trading Partner

External AS2 MDN lookup

Search for external AS2 MDNs received by your trading partner's server to confirm that data was successfully sent — all from your ECGrid Portal.

Step 1 — search transactions

Enter search criteria on the Transactions page

Navigate to the Transactions page on your ECGrid Portal.

Enter the following search criteria:

TypeFILE

DirectionOUTBOUND

Date rangeStart & End Date

IDsMy Qual:ID + Partner Qual:ID

Select Search Transactions.

Use the filter to search for the filename you sent to the trading partner.

Step 2 — open the file details

Navigate to the Details page

Locate your file in the results list.

Select the blue hyperlink ECGrid File No. to open the Details page.

Step 3 — locate the external MDN

Finding and copying the MDN

On the Details page, scroll to the Internal ECGrid ID section. The External MDNis listed directly below it

Copy and paste the External MDN to send to the receiver
