Enabling Peppol through ECGrid
To become a Peppol Access Point, please follow the instructions below.
Your work with OpenPeppol

Obtain your Test Certificate
Once registered, request your Testing Certificate from the
Peppol Service Desk. You will need the following:
- Signed Peppol Service Provider Agreement
- Business Registration Document
- Peppol Seat ID
Your work with ECGrid

Provide credentials to ECGrid Support
After Peppol provides your Test Certificate and password, send the following to ECGrid Support at
support@ecgrid.com:
- Test Certificate
- Test Password
- Test Peppol Participant Qualifier and ID
- Trading Partner Test Qualifier and ID
- Document Type(s)

ECGrid configures your connection
ECGrid Support will configure your Peppol communication on the network side. No infrastructure work is required from you at this step.

Complete automated tests via the Peppol Testbed
Run all Migration Test cases through the Peppol Testbed and download your Passing Report. See the Testbed instructions below.

Transition to production
Once testing is complete, provide ECGrid Support with your Production Certificate and information to complete your transition from Test to Production. See the production instructions below.
Peppol Testbed — automated tests
To begin testing you will need to upload your Test Certificate into your browser. This can be done in a private browser window.
Edge Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Security → Manage certificates
Chrome Settings → Privacy and Security → Security → Manage Certificates
Go to Custom and Installed By you, or import from Windows if installed locally.
Once the certificate is loaded in your browser, complete the following steps:

Select Complete PKI Migration

Select the installed Peppol Test G3 Certificate

Complete all Migration Test cases — this requires receiving documents at the endpoint set up in the SMP and uploading documents to the customer network outbox and sending to the testbed.

Once all tests pass, download the Passing Report. You will then need to request your production certificates using the same process as before, providing the same information with the addition of the passed test certificate report.
Transitioning from Test to Production
After successfully completing testing through the Peppol Testbed, request your production certificate and password from the Peppol Service Desk using the same process as the test certificate request.
Once you receive your production certificate and password, provide ECGrid Support with:
- Production Certificate
- Production password
- Production Qualifier:ID for your organisation
- Production Qualifier:ID for your trading partner
ECGrid Support will complete your transition on ECGrid and move your account to Production status.
