EDI VAN networks are set up as either an open routing or partnership-based model. ECGrid is an open routing network, requiring minimal configuration for new partners, that allows files to be exchanged with any network that supports open routing. Some VANs require predefined trading partner relationships, where each partnership must be specifically configured before data can route successfully.

The partnership for this interconnect has been created on ECGrid but has not been confirmed by the receiving VAN. The receiving VAN for this partnership is partnership based or requires their customer (your trading partner), set up the partnership on their side.  

Recommended Action: Please confirm with your trading partner that this partnership has been set up on their VAN and Complete the partnership on your ECGrid portal on the TP page of your Mailbox.
