How to use ECGrid Search in the Simplify

These are step by step instructions to Create Custom app and Connect to ECGrid Simplify Search: 

  1. In Simplify, you can create a connection. To create a connection access the Manage User page through the menu option on the left.
    1.  Login User: Click Login as User.
    2. The menu option on the left: Click My Connections.
    3. After that, a dialog box appears on the right: Find and choose ECGrid.
    4. Displays a dialog to connect with ECGrid: Enter your name in the Connection Name field.
    5.  To create connection: Click Connect button.
    6. Set up the flow under the outbound and the inbound type:
      The outbound type: Create the flow from ECGrid Mft Receive Documents to ECGrid Send Documents.
      The inbound type: Create the flow from ANSI X12 830 004010 to Horton Planning Schedule FFS Target.
      1. The menu option on the left: Click My Flow > Flows.
      2. To create the flow: Click Add Flow button.
      3. Displays a dialog to add the flow: Enter your name in the Name field.
      4. To save the flow: Click Save button .
      5. After saving the flow you can see the Flow Configuration.
        To add Trigger: Click Add Trigger button .

      6. Configure your Action.
      7. After configuring the inbound: Click the Next button twice > Click the Finish button.

      8. Then, click Add button to create the outbound.
      9. Configure the outbound action similarly to the inbound action.

      10. After configuring the outbound: Click the Next button > Click the Finish button.
        *Note: When you back list flow page, you might not see your flow. Click Show checkbox to display it.
      11. To enable the flow: Click Enable button > Click Yes.
      12. Then, once you have the flow you will configure the ECGrid Search.
        The menu option on the left: Click ECGrid Search.
      13. To set up Api key: Click Setup API Key button.
      14. You need an Api key from the ECGrid to configure this step: Copy the Api on the ECGrid  to enter the ECGrid Api Key field.

      15. To save the Api: Click Save button.
      16. After saving the Api key, Simplify will display the transaction list.
        • Date Range 31 day limit: Only search results from the last 31 day are allowed.

        • Mailbox: Choose the Mailbox you set up on ECGrid.
        • Network: This is NetworkID.
        • Direction: Click the checkbox to search for inbound or outbound transactions.
        • Type: If the file is EDI, click Interchange, it isn't, click Parcel.
        • Interchange Control Number: 
        • Search results: If you want to search for details, you can enter them in the Type to search field.
