How to Set up and Update your Amazon AS2 connection on ECGrid

Amazon AS2 connectivity

Setting up your Amazon connection can be completed quickly and at your convenience directly on your ECGrid Portal.

To locate your connection:

MailboxesSelect your mailboxTP ConnectionsAmazon AS2

If you already have an active Amazon connection, its details will appear under Amazon Connections at the top of the page.


Configure your Amazon connection — 5 steps

Select the Amazon ID
From the drop-down menu, choose the correct Amazon EDI ID for the connection.

Select your ID
Click the drop-down arrow and choose the mailbox EDI ID that will be trading with Amazon.

Enter your Amazon Vendor ID
Your Amazon Vendor ID is a 5-digit number provided directly by Amazon.

Enter the Amazon AS2 ID and AS2 URL
This information is provided by Amazon — available both on Vendor Central and sent to you via email.

Upload the Amazon certificate
The certificate is also provided by Amazon via Vendor Central and email. Upload it in the certificate field.


Completing setup

Finalizing and testing your connection

Select Configure Amazon Connection to save your setup.

Your connection profile will appear under the Amazon Connections section at the top of the page.

Select Send Test on the right-hand side of the connection row to send the required test to Amazon.

Check your test file status on the Transactions page of the Portal.


Updating the Amazon certificate

How to update a certificate

Locate the correct Amazon connection in the Amazon Connections section.

Upload the new certificate file by selecting Choose File.

Select +Update Certificate to apply it.

We recommend sending another test after a certificate update to confirm the new certificate is working as expected.
